Helen Julia Theresa (McDonald) Campbell, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Born in Victoria, BC daughter of Helen Ruth Eileen (Neely) and Michael McDonald. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Campbell, Sister Patricia and Brothers Jack, William and Gerald.

Helen (Air Force) and Ken (Navy) both served overseas during WWII. Proving love conquers all, through a marriage lasting a lifetime joining a McDonald and a Campbell on June 12, 1948.

Survived by Sister Myrna Richards-Dorras (Cyril), Nephew Ross Richards (Jennifer) and children David, Kenneth and Lorena. Niece Patricia Higgins (Paul) and children Christine, Theresa and Daniel. Niece Debra Jennings (Peter) and children Ryan, Jessa and Adam. Niece Rhonda Fuller (Mark) and children Nicola and Kevin. Sincere thanks to Kevin and Ken Worth and family for their long standing loving friendship. Helen leaves behind many other dear nieces, nephews, family and friends, too numerous to mention, as she was "Auntie Helen" to all who knew her.

After the war Helen worked for the Government of British Columbia Department of Highways and spent many hours of her free time volunteering at St Vincent de Paul.

Family would like to thank the staff at The Gardens in Qualicum Beach for their very special care.

On Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband Ken at the Veteran's Cemetery, God's Acre, 1190 Colville Road, Victoria, BC.

Between the 12th and 17th holes of the Gorge Vale Golf Club. 

A private celebration of life will take place with close family.
