VELMA JEAN INNES

March 13, 1952 – August 27, 2017

We sadly announce Velma passed away peacefully with family by her side.

She was predeceased by her father Archie Simpson and sister-in-law Maxine.  Survived by her best friend and companion, Tony Bos, daughters Rhonda, Karen and Robyn, grandchildren Justin, Jordan, Reese, Kale, Renaye, Shannon, Courtney, Brooke and Ashlyn, great grandchildren Aidyn, Bentley and Abel, mother Winnie Simpson, siblings Percy, Brian (Suvanna), Colleen (Lauras), Barb (Barrie) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Velma was an avid card player, she loved travelling with Tony to various cities in BC and Alberta to play crib.  She enjoyed bowling, camping and playing bingo.  Most of all Velma loved spending time with her family.  She was a very proud Nan and will be missed by all.

A Tea to celebrate Velma’s life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Legion, Branch 293 at 1:00 PM
