June married Ray in 1947 and together they lived in many parts of the Prairies as Ray was with the Royal Bank. In 1953 Ray and June welcomed Bryan and in 1956, Barb to the family. The family loved to travel and had great adventures around Canada and the world. In 1977 Ray retired and he and June moved to paradise (what they called Qualicum Beach). Ray passed away in 2000. June moved to The Gardens in 2005 where she lived until her passing.
June loved life and enjoyed her many friends and family. Her great joy was her involvement with St. Stephen’s United Church.
The family would like to thank all the staff at The Gardens who made Mom’s life such a joy while she lived there.
