Bethine DESCOTEAU Obituary

With sadness we announce the passing of Bethine Descoteau. Beth was predeceased by her husband, Phil and her daughter, Peggy-Anne. She is survived by her son, Allan Descoteau; grandsons, Mark Descoteau and Allan Huggins; granddaughters, Sari Descoteau and Renée Dean; great grandchildren, Marina, Holly, Olivia Jordyn and Jesse; and good friend, Don McArther.

Beth was born and raised in Fernie, BC, until her marriage to Phil at age 18. Shortly after, they moved to Trail, BC where their two children were born. Beth and Phil lived in many communities through the years, including Trail, Vancouver, Penticton, Hudson’s Hope, Revelstoke, Nanaimo, and finally Parksville. Each community that Beth lived in and worked in, is a better place because of her. She had many good friends in each location.

Beth lived a good life. She was a great mother, an excellent Gram, and a loyal friend. On December 15th, 2018 she entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior. Beth will be missed but not forgotten. A service to honour Beth will be held later in the spring.
