Christopher Scott HEWITT

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Christopher Scott Hewitt on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.   Chris is lovingly remembered by his parents, Scott and Lucille; brother, Kyle (Jillian); sister, Jennifer (Travis); Grandma; Amma and Afi; nieces, Sage, Avery, and Sloane; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and good friends.

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Chris moved with his family to Parksville in 1994 where he spent his childhood. In 2012, he moved to Powell River where he began a very rewarding career with Save On Foods.

Many will remember him for his sense of humor, his courage and his generous heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Serenity Room at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Road in Parksville.
