Dianne Marie Gertrude BOER

Dianne Marie Gertrude Boer, November 26, 1959 - May 23, 2018

Dianne entered into rest on May 23 after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lydia Sevigny (née Bisson). She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dick; children, Lance (Becky), Kyle, and Nikki (Kyle); grandson, Aidan; siblings, Pauline Sevigny, Lucille Earl, and Ivan (Deb); and her father, Henri Sevigny; along with countless other family members, loved ones, and friends.

Dianne was born and raised in Port Alberni. She married Dick Boer, also from Port Alberni, on August 7, 1982. She was a proud mother and grandmother who loved spending time with family. For many years, she was an important part of the A.V. Times, and spent much of her time volunteering for the PTA at her children's school. Dianne enjoyed ceramics and making crafts with her grandson, Aidan, who brought her immeasurable joy.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to family and friends who have called, visited, and shown their love for Dianne.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 7 at 7:00 PM, at Cherry Creek Hall.
