With much sadness the family announces Neill’s passing on Sunday, December 30, 2018.

Neill was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Alec; children, Richard Neill, Colin Dobbs, and Monique Falahay.
After teaching psychology for many years at the University of Guelph, Neill was selected as the psychologist for the Namgis First Nations community in Alert Bay. A position he held for five years. In 2000, Neill and Eileen relocated to Qualicum Beach where Neill opened a private practice serving the Oceanside community.
Neill was very passionate about helping people. He spent many fulfilling years working with the SOS in Parksville volunteering in many capacities including serving on the Board of Directors.
When not helping others, he loved working with wood, riding motorcycles; flying airplanes, travelling and spending quality time with his large blended family and friends. He will be sadly missed by those whose lives he touched.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Road in Parksville. In lieu of flowers those wishing to honour Neill’s memory may do so by making a donation in his name to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, 938 West 28th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Z 4H4 or the SOS, PO Box 898, Parksville, BC V9P 2G9
