Sadly, we announce that Jean Jacobson passed away on Thursday, January 10th, 2019. Jean was predeceased by her daughter, Valerie Brimacombe; 1st husband, Norman Brimacombe; 2nd husband, David Walker; and 3rd husband, Ivor Jacobson. She is survived by her children, Ken (Tish) Brimacombe, Garry (Carol) Brimacombe, Don (Patty) Brimacombe, and Allin Brimacombe; 13 grandkids; 33 great grand kids; her sisters, Dorothy and Audrey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jean loved playing and teaching violin. She played in 3 different symphonies, Prince George, Victoria, and Nanaimo. In her later years, Jean played with the Coombs Old Time Fiddlers. Her music was her true love and she enjoyed playing for anyone who would listen.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 at the Knox United Church, 345 Pym Street, Parksville, BC. A tea to follow at 405 E Stanford Ave., Parksville.
