Josef THALER Obituary

With heavy hearts the family of Josef announce his passing. After fighting for three years, he lost his painful battle with bone cancer on Thursday, June 7, 2018.

Josef is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Charlotte; sons, Andreas (Kathleen), Peter (Christine) of Victoria; grandchildren, Abbey and Alexander; sisters, Anni (Friedhelm), Viktoria (Anton), Elisabeth (Josef); brothers, Sebastian (Gabi) and Karl (Gertrude); numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Josef immigrated to Canada with his wife, Charlotte and two sons 36 years ago with the dream of making a better life for his family – and he did!

In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held. Those wishing to honour Josef’s memory may do so by making a donation in his name to the BC Cancer Foundation.
