Marijan "Mario" IVANCIC

Sadly, we announce the passing of Mario Ivancic on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Mario was predeceased by his parents, Luka and Zlata Ivancic. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Elaine; children, Tania Ivancic, Tony Ivancic, David Hall & Amanda Bilton, Kirk Vadhem & Grace Dean; grandchildren, John Ivancic, Amanda Ivancic, Kyle Kleefman, Christopher Kleefman, Alexa Ivancic, Cody Martin and Carter Kleefman; siblings, Luke & Linda Ivancic (Maple Ridge, BC), Zorka Antak (Croatia), and Vesna Urlic (Australia). 

Mario is remembered as a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and brother. Mario was a kind man who was well travelled with a wealth of knowledge, experiences and wisdom he was always willing to share. His wicked sense of humour, discussions about politics and history, his laughter, his loving heart and so very much more will be missed by family and friends.

Friends are welcome to join the family at a Celebration of Life to be held at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, BC, on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
