Robert BOUCHARD Obituary

Robert Thomas Bouchard

November 14, 1940 – May 16, 2018

After a long illness, Robert passed away quietly on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Echo Village in Port Alberni, surrounded by his family.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Peter & Dora Bouchard, his son Phillip, his sister Alice Schifferns and his great grandson Baby Grayson.  He is survived by his loving wife Frances, of 57 years; his son Allan; his daughters Debbie & Lisa (Terry), his 7 grandchildren, Jenny (Brent), Collin, Stacie (John), Michael (Daisy), Shallan (Celia), Katie & Kody, his 6 great grandchildren, Tegan, Devon, Maddie, Brielle, Caleb, & Olivia; his sister Lois (Ernie) Nash, his brother Marcel Bouchard and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert worked for 40 years in the logging industry.  He started as a Boom Man and ended driving logging trucks, which he totally loved.  He loved fishing, camping and spending time down the canal and his BULLDOGS, the local hockey team.

Robert will be sadly missed by all, especially his wife, with whom he ended each night with a kiss.

“I Love You HON”

“Have A Good Sleep”
