1939 ~ 2018

The legend known as Billy Blake has left us at the age of 79 on Sunday, December 2nd, 2018.

He was born on August 14th, 1939 in Vancouver, BC.  Predeceased by his parents Bill and Annie Blake and his brother Barry, sisters June and Sandy; he is survived by his beloved family, wife Kathy, daughter Tracy, son Brad and granddaughter Kianda Jacobsen;  Also his sisters Soni (Brian) Chenard, Elaine (Fred) DeLuca, Lynne (Omer) Pelletier plus many nieces and nephews and countless friends, especially Judy Kennedy, Tammy Anderson Meyer, Melanie Riemer and Mike Schely. 

Port Alberni will not be the same without this colorful character.  We welcome all to come and celebrate Bill's life and times on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 - 1:00 PM at the Cherry Creek Community Hall.  Let's share some memories and have some laughs.  Bring your best Billy stories, the good and the bad ass.
