Sadly, Ann Noga passed, born in Wolverhampton England. After finishing school, she began her stage career at Wolverhampton’s grand theatre on her 15th birthday, as assistant stage manager. After two seasons she had plays in Pantomime at the Empire Theatre and then the Amorous Prawn at Piccadilly Theatre on of London’s longest runs, being awarded a grant to the guild hall school of music and drama.
In 1961 Ann met Morley who had rented a flat from Ann’s mother. 6 months later they married. In 1963 they moved to Burnaby along with Ann’s son Brandon. Ann helped Morley with his grocery delivery business doing the ledger and calls.
In 1965 she had Kevin. In 1972 she became a realtor, retiring at 60 on the island. She was an advocate for SPCA and the heart fund. She wrote poetry, loved RVing and boating.
Survived by her sons Brandon (Ferne) granddaughter Rene Mitchell, Kevin (Myra).
She was a very grand lady; we will always raise our glass to her. Cheers Mom.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday November 18, 2023, at Yates.
