February 16th 1932 - January 1st 2021

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother “Annie”.

Annie was born in Utrecht, Holland and in 1957 immigrated to Canada with her family.  A few years later she met her loving husband Gys at a European dance in Port Alberni. Annie & Gys married, had three daughters and a wonderful life together in Port Alberni.  Annie is predeceased by her loving husband Gys of 45 years.

Annie had the kindest heart, had a way of making everyone feel loved, and lived for her family.

Annie is survived by her three loving daughters, Monica (Bob) Bradbury, Anita (Sean) Adams, and Roberta Richardson.  And her grandchildren whom she loved so much:  Anya, Jesslyn, Spencer, Aja, Gabriel, Shaye, Maya and Caleb.  Annie is predeceased by her parents Johannes & Johanna Wouters, and her brothers Jopie Wouters, Richard (Cisca) Wouters, Leo (Riek) Wouters.  Annie will be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters; Ben (Joni) Wouters. Theo (Joyce) Wouters, Ria (Paulo) Becia, Joke (Armando) Rossetto, Henk (Mary) Wouters, Jan (June) Wouters, Tina (Don) Whitehead, Els (Andy) De Luca,  many brother/sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

There will be a private family service in the coming months.
