Annie Roberta Robson

February 2,1938 – January 2,2021

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother.

Annie (AKA Betty) passed away peacefully on January 2, 2021 with family at her side.

 Survived by her son Michael Robson, daughter Elaine Robson

 And her three grandsons Michael, Jackson and Riley, who were the light of her life.

She also has family and many friends in the UK.

 Annie was born in Gateshead, England to Reginald and Elizabeth Woof.

 Annie met her husband Gordon Robson while living and working in Gateshead, and they married March 16, 1963

After starting their family, Michael was born July 8, 1965 in Gateshead, they decided to emigrate to Port Alice Canada in 1967.

 Traveling to Canada turned out to be the greatest adventure of her life.

After a short stay in Port Alice and the birth of their daughter Elaine March 3, 1968,

They eventually settled in Powell River, where she raised her family and made so many lifelong friends.

In 1985 she moved onto Victoria and started a career in long term care, which she enjoyed immensely.

In 2016 she moved to Parksville to be closer to her family and enjoy her retirement.

Annie was a vivacious and fun-loving lady who will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

 She had a wonderful sense of humor and quick wit that made her so lovable.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at Eagle Park for the wonderful care she received.
