Anthonius Wilhelmus Fransiscus Roodbol "Tony" was an amazing, caring, and loving husband / father.
He is pre-deceased by his father Fransiscus, mother Wilhemina, and sister Theresia. He is survived by his beautiful wife Connie, daughter Desiree, and son Michael, as well as siblings Joseph, Frank Jr., Maria, Lucia, also nieces and nephews Glenn, Anthony, Adina, Stephanie, Ben, and Clarissa.
Amongst family, Tony had many other interests, but his main interest was sports.
Over the years he played many - floor hockey, ring hockey, soccer, baseball, and rugby, just to name a few. He used to say "it's ironic that I played so many running sports, yet I hate running".
After being gifted with his two beautiful children, Tony dove right into coaching. He coached many sports such as tee-ball, baseball, soccer, hockey, and lacrosse. He also loved to support his daughters love of dancing, he would go to all her recitals and was so proud of her talents, especially in tap.
Tony loved to make people laugh and always had a smile on his face. He loved being a jokester and always knew how to lighten the room. Above all, Tony was a stand-up man, who would do anything for the people he loved, and it showed.
Tony will be dearly missed, but will live on in our hearts forever.
There will be a funeral mass for Tony at the Holy Family Notre Dame Church on Wednesday July 9th at 12:00pm, followed by a celebration of life at the Black Sheep Rugby Club at 2:00pm.
