Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Benjamin Perc. Ben was survived by his loving wife Yvonne Marie Perc born June 19 1958, their 2 children (Michael Perc, Dayna Belanger) his step children (Jessica Rupert, Jackie and Ryan Mathwig, Carmen Dollard) Dayna’s 4 children (Mason, Dylan, Bailey, Brooklyn) Jessicas son (Logan Barefoot) Jackie and Ryans sons, (Joshua Harrison, Carson Mathwig), his sister Susan Piava (John Piava) and their 11 children.
Ben was born in Maribor Slovenia in the winter of 1952, and moved to Victoria, BC Canada at the age of of 3. Ben was baptized in 1995. He was a loving husband and an amazing storyteller who was devoted to the ways of god. Ben loved being in his garden, teaching bible study, eating delicious food, bike riding, roller blading, skiing, golfing, and being around his loved ones. For his career, he was an eyewear salesman, then worked with his wife at Island Healthworks until his passing. Ben passed away at home.
