Obituary
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Cherie Ann Hope on May 25, 2023 at Stanford Seniors Village.
Cherie is survived by her loving husband of 41 years William, her daughter Tanya Ayotte (Robert) of Victoria, son Rob Degensetein (Michell) of Kelowna, grandchildren Ben, Johnny, and David Gannett of Nanaimo, Nicholas and Alexandra Degenstein of Amherst, Nova Scotia, her brothers Alfred Penny (Geraldine) of Kamloops and Greg Penny (Sandra) of Clearwater. As well as many friends.
Cherie worked for Pacific Western Airlines and Canadian Airlines. She retired to Parksville in 1998 with her husband Bill. Where she found her great love for Quilting, she belonged to Parksville Quilters guild, Ducks unlimited, and V.I.P.M.S Fossil Club.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Stanford Seniors Village.
