Connor Greenway

Connor would instantly light up any room he entered. A big smile, a warm open heart and hug. A true gentle soul who loved his family and friends with all his heart.

It is with the most profound sadness that we announce Connor’s sudden passing in a car accident on May 4, 2022, in Nanoose Bay, BC at the age of 31.

Connor was born in Burlington, Ontario and had the joy of living close to his extensive family. At the age of 11 he moved to Scotland with his family, where he made lifelong friendships that he cherished and nurtured. Then back to St. Catharines, Ontario where he attended high school at Ridley College, becoming valedictorian in 2008. After graduating university Connor developed his career in life sciences sales where he truly enjoyed interacting with everyone he met.

Connor committed intensely to his passions, such as music and cars; he was a talented drummer and composer and had an incredible depth of knowledge and intellect. He shared generously with anyone who might need help and could not tolerate injustice or prejudice.

Connor so loved his family; adored son of Glen and Monette Greenway and his brother Spencer. He was cherished by his Grandparents Sherry Greenway, and Ray Micheau, and the late Albert Greenway and Blanche Micheau. Beloved nephew of Gail (Dave), Cathy (Jon), Gary (Colleen), Charles, Russ (Ruby) and loved by his cousins that meant the world to him. We feel some peace knowing he is now reunited with Grandpa, Nanny, and dear friends and family that have died before him.

We’ll so miss our talks with him about our day, what interesting things were happening at work or with his friends, or in world events. We’ll miss him sharing new music with us, his powerful hugs, and so much more. But we know we’ll see him again.

A private service will be held in Parksville BC, then on May 28, 2022 a Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4pm at the Hilton Garden Inn, 985 Syscon Rd. Burlington ON L7L 5S3. This will be an open house to those who would like to come remember and celebrate with us our beautiful son, Connor Greenway.
