SURVIVED BY: His first wife Kathleen; his second wife Grazyna; sons Gareth, Bryn, and Owen; daughter Sian; step-daughters Aleksandra and Katarzyna; and his 7 granddaughters Ngaire, Miren, Annie, Alys, Carys, Meredith, and Rhyan.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION: Gwilym was first and foremost a family man. He was also a professor of law and later a practicing lawyer for many years. He loved winter and summer sports, camping, music, and socializing with family and friends. He was a hard worker and a defender of the underdog.
Gwilym’s body will be cremated in Parksville, where he lived with Grazyna and his step-daughters for the past 7 years and passed after a long struggle with dementia. His family will handle the disposition of his ashes.
