The World has lost a truly special person.
It is with huge sadness and pain in our hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Best Friend/Husband, Father, Opa, Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and dear Friend.
JACQUES (Jacobus Theodorus Josephus Maria) CASTENMILLER
Jacques was taken from us far too soon, at the age of 72, on Monday April 24, 2023
after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully in his dream home in Qualicum Beach, on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada
He was surrounded by his loving Family, his Soulmate of over 50 years-Margaret,
his pride and joy his sons Marcel (Angela & Casper) & Jefferey (Michelle & Rosie) as well as the apple of his eye his young grandson Kai.
Jacques is dearly missed by many, his Brothers Jan (Mike), Peter (Tilly), Arnold (Etha) and Eric (Marion) and his Sisters Jacqueline (Bob) and Margot (Johan) and Margaret’s Family; Desi (Janny), Peter, Sylvia (Wim) Richard (Carole), Max (Hanny) and Debbie (Ron) their kids and their kids kids, the rest of the family and friends spread across Canada and the Netherlands.
Jacques will be forever remembered as a loving husband, “Super Dad” and “Mister Mom”, an excellent Chef and Handyman a hardworking, thoughtful, generous and funny friend to all who had the pleasure of spending time with him.
We will Love him forever and always.
A Celebration of Life will be held on his Birthday April 19, 2024.
