It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Barry on May 22, 2021

Janet was predeceased by her husband Donald and son Kevin Phillip.

Survived by her children Art, Dawn, Joanne (Braun), Barb and Ellen, grandchildren TJ, Michelle, Jason, Amanda, Jacquie and Nick, her 13 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

After mom earned her degree in science in 1953, she continued with her life-long love of learning, she was always engaged with family, friends, community and any stray her kids brought home.

We were given an enormous gift when we were all able to spend Mom’s last hours with her – a gift we all treasure. Mom left hearing how much each of her children loved, honoured and respected her, and how very much she meant to each of us and to so many other family and friends.
