It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to a father, brother and uncle to our family. Jerry passed away peacefully in his sleep at Fir Park Village in Port Alberni. Jerry is predeceased by both his parents. Father Sardara Singh and Mother Swarn Kaur. His brother in laws Leo Commandeur and Ken Holst. Jerry is survived by his sons Josh and Jeremy both residing in Victoria BC. His siblings Mindy who resides in Port Alberni and her son Ryan and his daughter (Devynn). Mindy's daughter Krysta and her twins (Mayson and Maliya). His brother Kelly who also lives in Port Alberni and wife Denise. Sister Debra residing in Phoenix AZ and her son Cole and daughter Cloe. Jerry left behind many uncle and aunts and cousins and friends.

Jerry loved trucking, he worked hard over the years. In his younger years he was the life of the party, chewing rubber on Burke Road in his cars. He will be remembered for the stacks of lottery tickets that he would buy and spending time in the casino. He always helped out when his sister Deb needed help with Leo in California. He would spend months with her helping however needed. Taking Leo to treatment or being at the house for Cloe. He was a man of few words, until he had a few drinks. His smile and laughter will be missed.

We know that you are free and soaring high watching over us. Gone much too soon. Always in our hearts and never forgotten.

Cremation will be Wednesday May 17th at 12.30 pm at Yates Crematory.

A celebration of his life will be planned at a later date.
