It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Karen G Thomas, the loving wife of Ted Thomas, the loving mother of Curtis (Jennifer) and proud grandmother of Ashley.

Karen was born in Perth Australia immigrating to Canada. She lived mostly in Kelowna and recently in Qualicum Beach.

The world was better because we were able to share our lives with her. We will miss her easy smile and great sense of humour.

Karen had a passion for gardening and loved walking and hiking.

Besides her husband and family, she leaves behind her brother Karl in Australia; brother-in-law Leon (Irene) in Kelowna and many other family and friends in Canada and Australia.

We thank those who provided medical and hospice care and neighbourly support. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

No flowers by request. If you wish, donations can be made to Oceanside Hospice.
