Katherine (Kathy) PITTS Obituary

Kathy passed away peacefully at Ty Watson House after a long battle with liver disease with her husband, Lyle at her side.

She is survived by her parents, Bud (Iver) and June Pedersen; husband, Lyle; daughters, Kayley (Scott Friesen), and Kristy; siblings, Ron Pedersen, Carolyn (Terry) Jasken; sister in law, Ingrid Pitts; brother in law, Lloyd (Amy) Pitts; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and good friends.

Kathy will be remembered for her loving nature, great laugh, and kind heart.

The family wishes to thank Dr Kristine Woodley, Dr Marc Lambiotte, Dr James Grant, and Dr Robert O'Dwyer, and all the staff at Ty Watson for the kindness and care they gave Kathy during her illness.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Alberni Athletic Hall on Saturday, February 18th, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathy’s memory to Ty Watson House.
