Larry Wade ENGSTROM

On September 16th 2023, Larry Wade Engstrom (Wade) made his way to greener pastures at the age of 67 years old. Wade was predeceased by his parents, Larry and Audrey.   He leaves behind wife, Kori; kids, Steven, Krysteen and Brandon; brothers, Earl, Lance and Vern; sisters, Gaylene and Alita; grandchildren, Ashlynn, Makayla, Cameron, Gregory, Mason and McKenna along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. 

Wade was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on April 21, 1956, soon after, his family headed West to settle as Port Alberni residents. As a young man, Wade was a socialite, a great athlete and loved the wilderness, which led Wade to fulfill a career as a Faller in the forestry industry. Wade worked hard and played even harder. He always joked that he “bought the farm,” while Wade continued to create his legacy as a cowboy/farmer along the Beaufort range. He enjoyed hobbies such as, racing pigeons, hunting, riding his horses and raising cattle. Wade lived his dream on the farm with a Lucky Lager in hand, surrounded by family, friends and animals. Forever in our hearts and deeply missed.
