Leonard "Len" Winter Obituary

My heart broke with Len’s passing. He leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Terry Unger, their adored pets Jesse and Sophie, and close friends.

Len was born and educated in Vancouver. He had a long career with FBDB and after his retirement the family moved to Vancouver Island, where he continued as a business instructor for Sprott Shaw and Ethos. Len was an intelligent and curious man with a love for learning, a desire to share it and was a wonderful public speaker.

He loved to travel, and we visited many countries; China, Egypt, Tunisia, Yugoslavia, Hawaii, Europe and Britain. He brought back many happy memories. His spirit was strong and courageous and, even against great odds, it did not fail him. Through it all he said, “the adventure continues” and I pray that his adventures are continuing.
