Leslie Robert Gosselin, 72, of Port Alberni, BC, passed away on Wednesday Dec 22, 2021, in his residence after a brief battle with cancer.

Les was born July 1949 to Mother Leona Bowman and later took the Gosselin Surname following his adoption by Ned Gosselin. Les grew up in Fort Frances, ON, were he met his wife of 53 years Harriet Ann, who survives him. Les is also survived by daughter, Becky Soderholm and spouse Todd, daughter, Tracy Landriault andspouse Edward, and son, Michael Gosselin and spouse Marinnelle as well as a host of grandchildren and great grand children. Les is also survived by his sister ,Carla Basaraba and spouse Kim. Les was predeceased by his parents and grandmother, Ester Bowman.

Les enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and was happiest hunting, fishing, riding his Harley or cruising a lake on his snow machine. He had a strong sense of justice and took great pride in fighting for his co-worker’s rights as part of the union executive at the local pulp and paper mill.
