Phillip PODOVENIKOFF Obituary

Sadly, we announce Phillip’s sudden passing on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni. He was just three days shy of his 83rd birthday.

Phil will be greatly missed by his spouse, Mary; stepson, Derek; sister, Kay Hickey; brother in law, Peter Mould; sister in law, Betty Argatow; nephews, Terry (Mitsuyo) Argatow, Brian (Sylvia) Hickey, Darin Mould, Jason (Shannon) Mould; nieces, Rhonda (Peter) Noviello, Juli (Daryl) Jones and their families; as well as many extended family members and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Mable (Steve) Belleck and John Podovenikoff; wife, Ilene; sister, Marge Mould; brothers in law, Ron Hickey and Walter Argatow; and nephew, Kelly Argatow.

The family would like to thank the medical staff for everything that they did to make Phil as comfortable as possible during his brief illness.

Due to Covid 19, there will not be a formal Funeral Service at this time. Friends are encouraged to share stories, memories, photos, and condolences with the family.
