Richard Roy Pardiac
December 8, 1955 – November 13, 2021

Richard passed peacefully in Hospice at Trillium Lodge, Parksville, BC. At his side was his best friend Ruby and sister Debbie. He was born in Comox, BC and grew up in Deep Bay, BC, where he spent much of his life in the commercial fishing industry. He had a very generous spirit, loved a hot cup of coffee and a good game of cards with family and friends.

Richard is predeceased by his parents, Gus and Pat, brother Clifford and his nephew Gary. He is survived by his three sons: Michael (Diawani), Jason (Leslie) and Jeff (Jamie), grandchildren: Jake, Jonathan, August, Rebekka, Emily, Jaden, Jaxen, Ellah and Emmet, sister Debbie MacLean (Don), sister in-law Val Pardiac, Nephew Don Pardiac (Jodie), great niece Sarah and great nephew Adam.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Dr. Naomi Glick and her team at NRGH, Oceanside homecare nurses and aides and Dr. Susan Hunter and her team of hospice angels.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s memory to the Kidney Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Hospice Society and Diabetes Canada.

There will be no service at Richards request.
