Roland Ernest Craig

 It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Roland Ernest Craig on March 22, 2021, at the age of 78 years.

Roley will be lovingly remembered by his children: son Roland Craig Jr. (Cindy) and daughter Cathren Schulz, grandchildren: Tamara, Brad-lee (Carla) Ethan & Jessie-Lee, & great grandchildren; Kolton, Jordyn, Grayson, Spencer and Gianna. His brother, John Craig (Cathy) as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Roley was predeceased by his loving wife Joan, daughter Bonnie & son Lee, son in law Jason & great grandson Rylan.

Roley was born in New Brunswick September 7 1942 to his father George Craig and mother Ruth Britton. The family moved to Port Alberni BC when he was a young boy. At the age of 17 Roley set out on his own and began a career with the BC forestry. Roley and Joan shared a beautiful life, that included many tragedies but their love and strength carried them through. Family was everything to Roley and his absence has left a hole in our family. He will be forever in our hearts and forever missed.

A close family gathering will take place & a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Alberni Valley Hospice Society or a charity of choice.
