Santokh Parhar Obituary

With great sadness we announce the passing of Santokh. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years Harbhajan Kaur Parhar.

He is survived by his children, Sam (Satwant). Ajit (Derek), Gurjit (Shannon), Satnam (Sandy), Satpal (Sandy), grandchildren, Shari, Sarah, Kristen, Jamie, Brett, Jaiden, Danielle, Asha, Kaila, Ben and Kashton, and great grandchild Daija.

Santokh and his amazing wife Harbhajan came to Canada from India in 1960, where they raised 5 wonderful children together. Through hard work and perseverance, Santokh secured a position at the mill in Port Alberni until his retirement. Santokh and his wife enjoyed spending time with their family, praying at the Gurdwara, and going for early morning swims at the pool.

He will be forever missed.
