Ted was born at his family farmhouse in Blenheim Township, ON and then moved with his family to Guelph, ON. He spent the majority of his career working for Bruce Nuclear Power which moved his life to Tiverton, ON, where he started his family. Ted was a man of many skills and hobbies. When he was younger, he learned pistol shooting, archery, hunting, fishing, and taxidermy. His love for reading books, cooking and scuba diving were primary interests throughout his life. His later years he developed skills in antiquing and restoration, understanding our family ancestry and could always be found making or fixing something in his workshop. He learned poetry and honed his public speaking skills by challenging himself to participate in the local Toastmaster’s club. In his retirement he and Anne moved out to BC and loved exploring the island and found much fun in discovering, identifying and photographing the various birds, flora and fauna.
At his request there is no visitation or memorial service.
