Victor Charles Pearson
Obituary
Born in Birmingham, England, Vic arrived in Arctic Quebec in 1957 to work for the Hudson’s Bay Company, becoming fluent in the Inuktituk language.
Vic had many talents, working across the Arctic, northern BC, Yukon, and Vancouver Island over a long, varied, and interesting career. While constantly avoiding the limelight, Vic worked tirelessly and was honoured to be part of the historic land claims agreement for the Nuu Chah Nulth Nation. He enjoyed contract and consulting work while travelling abroad and enjoying life through the early 2000s.
Vic and Judy were married in 1966 and have three children, Jeremy, Jennifer and Eleanor (Dave), and six grandchildren. Vic was predeceased by his parents and sister in England.
If he knew you, he cared about you. His was a life well lived, a man much loved.
