It is with great sadness we announce the loss of my wife, mother and grandmother. Alice was born in High Prairie, Alberta. She graduated from Alberta College in Edmonton and moved back to the Peace River Country where she met Ken, who was the Forest Ranger in Valleyview. They were married in 1962, had their son Blaine the next year. The young family moved to Grand Prairie in 1967 and Bonalin was a welcome little sister in 1968.

Alice acquired her love for clothes and their accessories working in a boutique store. They moved to Parksville in 1990 where Alice acquired a ladies’ boutique where she operated until 2014.Travel was in our plans but this was not to be. She took ill shortly thereafter and ended up in The Gardens in Qualicum Beach.

Alice was predeceased by her son Blaine in 2000, and her parents in June ’64 and March ’01.

A Service will be held at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 795 Island Highway W, Parksville on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 3:00 pm.

Interment of Urn will be in Yates Parksville Cemetery at a later date.
