Darrell Edward MONCZKO

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Darrell Edward Monczko on Sunday, June 10th, 2018. Darrell was born on January 31st, 1962 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and was raised in Port Alberni, BC.

Darrell was predeceased by his loving mom, Darlene (nee Payne).

Darrell was the loving son of Edward Monczko, loving brother of Rhonda (Larry), and Joanne (Phil), ever-loving father of Laura and Michael (Megan). Darrell’s love also extends to many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed greatly by his “little girl dog” Dulce, and is now reunited with his beloved dog, Babe.

Darrell leaves a tremendous hole in the heart and soul of his best friend, the love of his life, Jackie, who spent five awesome years together spoiling each other with tons of love, laughter and adventures. She will love him for all eternity.

Darrell worked very hard and enjoyed his “relaxing” time at home very much. He will be missed by his many friends whom he loved to spend time laughing and chilling with...including his fave mary jane of course in his favourite tie dye.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Monday, June 18th from 3:00-5:00 pm in the Serenity Room at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Darrell's honour to the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre, www.niwra.org
