Stanley BEESTON Obituary

We announce the peaceful passing of Stan in the early hours of November 19, 2018. He had courageously fought lymphoma.

Stan was born in Liverpool, England and his family immigrated to Canada. Stan settled in Winnipeg, Canada and served in Royal Canadian Air Force as an Aero Engine Mechanic and was stationed in England. Upon his return to Canada Stan started his own Mink farm and delivered milk by way of horse and carriage before joining Air Canada as a mechanic. Stan finished his working career as an Aircraft inspector.

Stan married Margaret (Molly) on December 4, 1976. They combined their families of 5 children. They enjoyed a beautiful life of travel and the outdoors. This included hiking and camping as well as regular trips to Hawaii. He was predeceased by Molly who passed November 18, 2017. Stan loved a project and together they bought and sold many properties and motorhomes always renovating and improving. Stan was committed to “Life long learning” and studied many subjects, engrossed in literature.

Stan is survived by his children Bonnie, Wesley (Gail), grandchildren Jessica (Nick), Allison (George), Natalie (Jamey), great grandchild (Lake). Extended family includes; Jayne (Graham), Michael (Lori), grandchildren Claire (Mike), Adam (Tess), Sam, great grandchildren; Brayden, Thane, Owen and Ella.

His cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at Yates Memorial Services on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM, where Stan and Molly will be placed together.

A special thank you for all the care from Dr. DeBruin, the staff at Yuculta Lodge and Berwick Campbell River.
