Alan Manson, husband of Patricia Manson, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2022. Alan was born on March 3, 1928 in Salford, England, the youngest of nine siblings. He joined the Royal Air Service in 1947, and then studied to become a Research Chemist. He immigrated to Canada with his wife, Marjorie Joan Manson, who passed away in 1988. They lived in Gunar Mines, Saskatchewan, and Sudbury, before settling in Oakville, Ontario, where he worked at INCO.
Alan married Patricia in 1989, and upon retirement, they moved to Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island, where he enjoyed gardening, photography, and walking his beloved dog Gabe.
Alan will be remembered by his wife Patricia Manson, his daughters, Julia Kelly and Amanda Bentz (Brian), his grandchildren and great grandchild, and Patricia’s sons, Bryan Mitchell (Megan) and Lawrence Mitchell.
