Arthur Leslie EVANS

Arthur, better known to his family and friends as Art, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020.

Art is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Pat; son, Michael; daughter, Heidi; grandchildren, Kirk, Cameron, Faith, and Brady; brother, Warren (Bernice); sister, Margaret Gerrard; sisters in law, June Koppa and Sandra Evans; as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.  Art was predeceased by his parents, Gertrude and Samuel; brothers, Clarence and Lawrence (Diane); half brothers, Allen, Norman, Ralph, and Charlie; brothers in law, John Koppa and Bob Gerrard.

Art was a founding member of the Beaver Creek Fire Department, served on the Board of  Bread of Life  for 7 years, delivered Meals-on-Wheels, a member for many years of the Trinity Church and the Sunshine Club.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt  thank you  to the wonderful staff at WCGH and Rainbow Gardens for the compassionate care they gave Art during his stay with them.

There will be a service to honour Art at a later date when the Covid 19 restrictions have been lifted.  Cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Art`s memory may do so by making a donation in his name to a charity of their choosing.
