Brian Michael GUY

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Michael Guy on February 23, 2024.  He is survived by his spouse of 22 years, Michelle;  their daughter, Devin; his mom, Evelyn; sister, Jacquie (Claudio); niece, Courtney (Simon); and nephew, Richard.  He was predeceased by his father, George.

Brian was born in Port Alberni.  He worked for the City of Port Alberni since 2008.  Prior to that he worked at the Papermill alongside his father, George and grandfather, George.

Brian loved the outdoors, travelling, and spending time with his family.  He especially loved to watch his daughter Devin skate.

Many thanks for the kindness and care provided to Brian by Dr. White and his receptionist, Melissa Netzer, Dr. Woodley, the doctors, nurses, and care aids at West Coast General Hospital, and all of the home care nurses that came to take care of him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 11, 2024, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Italian Hall at 4065 – 6th Avenue.  In lieu of flowers, if desired, please donate to the BC Cancer Foundation.

He is deeply loved by his family and will be sadly missed.
