Helene Marie Emilie BOIRE

It is with heavy hearts that we  announce the passing of our Mother, Sister, Aunty, and Friend, Helene Boire.

Her long battle with Alzheimer’s ended September 15th 2022 at 80 years of age. She leaves behind one son, Dale (Sandra) and many family and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Doug (Erana), and husband, Ray.

Even though this devastating disease took her little by little, it could not extinguish her love of people and family. Helene had amazing charisma, drawing in everyone who met her. Her sense of humour and funny antics, made for many fun get togethers. Helene’s house was always the place to drop in or hang out.  Not only because you knew she would be excited to see you, but because there was usually something good simmering on the stove for anyone to eat.

Helene believed with all her heart in her faith, and the promise that death was just temporary until her creator would make all things right.

So, even though our hearts are broken, and we have to go on without her, we take comfort in all the amazing memories we share, and how, even in death, she still has the ability to make us laugh.

Now rest, in much deserved peace, our dear dynamic, funny, beautiful girl.
