After his retirement, Jack and Lorraine spent many years in Mesa, Arizona where they spent a devoted amount of time on the ball field and in the pool playing water volleyball. Jack loved being in Mesa with old friends and always making new ones. He was passionate about sports enjoying golf, badminton, softball, pickleball, boating on Sproat Lake and camping with his family. Jack was also skilled in home renovations and spent many hours improving homes in Port Alberni.
