Jacqueline Ann (Cove) PANAGROT

Jackie Panagrot, loving wife of 63 years to John, passed away peacefully on March 3rd 2019 at Port Alberni hospital. Jackie is survived by her husband John, 2 sons Mickey and Murray, her 3 grand children Jonathan,Timothy, and Taylor, 4 great grand children, by her sister Bobbi as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was predeceased by her parents Harry and Margret as well as her older sister Connie Baker.

With Jackie at the time of her passing were her husband John, youngest son Murray and her 3 grandchildren.

Jackie was born in Medicine Hat Alberta on September 11th 1933. After meeting and marrying John, she moved to Winnipeg. Following Winnipeg they moved to Lacombe Alberta, Kamloops B.C., Quesnel B.C., back to Kamloops and finally to Port Alberni B.C.

Jackie worked in the broadcast industry and as the secretary for the commanding officer at Mount Lolo radar station near Kamloops. After moving to Quesnel, Jackie worked part time in the insurance business as well as being a full time mother. She will be deeply missed by many.  Following cremation, she will be interned in Medicine Hat at a later date.

John would like to express his gratitude to the nurses and staff at Port Alberni Hospital who took great care of Jackie and kept her comfortable in her final days.
