Robert (Bob) Sommers Obituary

With his family by his side, Bob left his last piano move behind. He owned and operated Sommers Piano and Organ Sales Ltd., a 60 year family run business in the mid-island area, closing its doors in 2018 due to ill health. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Nona, he is survived by his loving family, wife Marilyn, son Grant, daughter Carolyn (Scott) Taylor and grandchildren Andrew (Katie), Rebecca, Olivia, Quinn and Isla.

Over the years Bob selflessly volunteered his time to the Kinsmen Club of Parksville, the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 76 Qualicum (receiving Life Membership Awards in both) and the Rotary Club AM.
