Sharon Darlene NEWMAN

With much sadness we share Sharon’s passing at her home in Port Alberni on Saturday, April 1, 2023.  She leaves behind to forever miss her, her husband of 30 years, David; sons, J. Donald Neale, K. Chris (Tara) Neale; grandchildren, Grayson, Kelly, Jesse, Madeline, and Finley; mother, Alice Mould; sister, Ruby (John) Whip; niece, Sonya; great nephew, Chase; as well and many extended family and friends.  Sharon was predeceased by her father, James (Jim) Mould.

She loved crafting, crocheting, card making, etc.  Her hands were always busy creating things.

Sharon was laid to rest beside her father, James in the Alberni Valley Memorial Garden on April 10th, 2023.  Honorary pallbearers were Don Neale, Chris Neale, Raymond Newman, Terry Newman, Norm Lacharite and Ted Mollet.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Sharon’s honour at the Best Western Plus Barclay Hotel in Port Alberni on May 20th between 2:00 and 4:00 pm.  It will be an informal event and we encourage her friends to drop by and share memories.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her name to a charity of your choice.  One of her favourtie charities was Mid Island Kidney Association.  If you wish, a donation can be made on line to them at www.mika-av.ca.

Sharon loved with all her heart and is dearly missed by family and friends.
