Thomas Charles Anderson
December 20, 1955 to November 17, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Thomas “Tom” Charles Anderson of Qualicum Beach, B.C. Tom fought a long and valiant battle against both cancer and COPD. He is predeceased by Eva Marie Anderson (mother) and Tom Anderson (father) both of Port Severn, Ontario; April Anderson (sister) and William Ladouceur (brother-in-law). He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra “Sam” Kathy Anderson; Judith Anderson (sister) and her sons Ian and Thomas; Robert Anderson (brother) and Diane, Midland, Ontario; Gary Cadeau (brother-in-law); Kathy Ladouceur (sister-in-law) and her son Aaron Ladouceur (all of Penetanguishene, Ontario); and other extended family and friends in Ontario and British Columbia.
During his life Tom worked as a brick layer, a boat builder for Grew Boats Limited of Chris Craft fame, and as a truck driver. His hobbies included model airplane building as a youngster, model boat building (Cutty Sark) as an adult, reading history and watching television (especially shows relating to conspiracy theories). Tom was often the life of the party and loved to tell stories, jokes and make people laugh. Tom will be missed by all who knew him.
No service will be held. In memory of Tom donations can be made to the Heart and Lung Foundation. Many thanks to Dr. Hickey Sommerville and the home-care nurses who took care of Tom during his illness.
