this is a message for glenn's son john
dear john,
i am so sorry you lost your father. it is hard to imagine ahead of time what it is like to not have one's father alive. it has been a few months - i only recently learned about your loss.
i remember your parents from when you were my student in winchelsea elementary school, and living in parksville i saw your father a few times in the intervening years. i clearly remember the pleasure of meeting you and your friend on a bc ferry when you had been to visit your father. you looked well. you reminded me that you lived in edmonton as does your mother whom i also remember well. you had such caring parents, john. that remains.
i wish you much strength with this and all other losses in your life, and mostly i wish you a good and interesting life with your loving mother and all other people who are dear to you. Ria Orr (now Jonkman)

Our deepest condolences to you ..., Glenn's family.

Glenn will always be part of our memory and family life. He was instrumental in our family moving to Regina , and experiencing life in beautiful Saskatchewan , as well as exploring the world and international trade after becoming a member of the Canadian Trade team (IT & C) in the Regina regional office. We were able to keep our professional and personal friendship active over these many years with visits here in Ottawa and in BC.

Glenn was a unique and engaging person that inspired me, and our family, to take on so many professional challenges that had a lasting and positive impact on our family life and created a treasure chest of amazing memories......The only thing I was never able to follow his footsteps in was Scottish country dancing! a skill well beyond my capabilities but our youngest daughter came close with step dancing in Ottawa for many years.

Our blessings to you Glenn, and your family. You will always be in our thoughts.
Dieter Hollweck and family (Bobbi, Trista, and Camilla)
