I am so saddened to hear Ivan has passed. I worked with him in the Port Alberni highway maintenance yard for many years. He was a pleasure to work with and had a great sense of humour; he was more than a co-worker, he was my friend.

My prayers are with you, Ivan, and all the family you left behind.
I never had the opportunity to meet you but your parents and mine were especially close friends for many years.
Many of your siblings are same or similar age to mine. We grew up together living in the same neighborhood.
To Irene, Marcel, Louis - whom I know very well - please know our family is with you at this time. Please pass on our prayers to remaining family members.
